About Sarah

A Lifelong Commitment to Community

Sarah Game, the visionary founder of Fair Go For Australians, has dedicated her life to making a positive impact. Initially drawn to veterinary medicine by her love for animals, Sarah’s passion for helping others led her to teaching, where she supported children in highly disadvantaged communities. Her global perspective, shaped by living in England, France, and Germany, and travelling across Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, has enriched her understanding of diverse communities.

"I have always worked to make a positive contribution to my community." — Sarah Game

Rooted in Family and Values

Raised with a strong sense of duty, Sarah credits her parents for instilling core principles: her father taught her hard work and personal responsibility, while her mother emphasized the value of education and lifelong learning. Above all, Sarah is a devoted mother of three, grounding her political mission in family values.

  • Hard Work: Sarah believes effort and loyalty to Australia should determine success, not connections or privilege.
  • Education: She champions learning environments that respect parental roles and community standards.
  • Family: As a mother, Sarah prioritizes policies that strengthen families and protect children’s wellbeing.

"My father taught me the values of hard work and personal responsibility. My mother instilled in me the value of education and lifelong learning." — Sarah Game

Leading Fair Go For Australians

In August 2025, Sarah launched Fair Go For Australians, a party born from her desire to break free from divisive politics and offer a fresh, equitable alternative. Having served as an Upper House member since 2022, she left One Nation in May 2025, citing its limiting stereotypes. Fair Go embodies her belief in a “fair go” for all—a uniquely Australian ethos that rewards contribution over favouritism.

"It’s about genuine equality: no discrimination, just a fair go for all." — Sarah Game

Sarah’s leadership focuses on removing barriers to create a level playing field, essential for social cohesion. Her introduction of a bill to repeal the First Nations Voice Act 2023 reflects her stance against race-based laws, advocating instead for policies that unite all South Australians, regardless of background.

"No matter where you were born, if you now call South Australia home, I am here to listen and represent you." — Sarah Game

Fair Go Policy Priorities

Sarah’s work as an MLC reflects her unwavering commitment to fairness, transparency, and community wellbeing. Through Fair Go For Australians, she’s driving bold reforms to address systemic issues and empower everyday South Australians. Her key initiatives include:

  • Opposing Race-Based Laws: In 2024, Sarah introduced the First Nations Voice Repeal Bill to challenge South Australia’s state-based Voice to Parliament, advocating for equal treatment for all, regardless of heritage.

"Every South Australian should be treated equally—not according to heritage or background." — Sarah Game

  • Government Accountability: Her 2023 Public Sector (Ministerial Travel Reports) Amendment Bill mandates ministers to report travel expenses within 45 days, ensuring taxpayer transparency. Her 2025 Ombudsman (Disclosure of Information) Amendment Bill allows complainants to publicly share their concerns, empowering taxpayers.

"It shouldn’t be controversial to ask that elected officials be transparent with taxpayer dollars." — Sarah Game

  • Veterans’ Wellbeing: Sarah has secured $75,000 for the Port Lincoln RSL Garden of Remembrance, established the Parliamentary Friends of Veterans group, funded Guitars 4 Veterans SA, and is legislating for a Veterans Commissioner to support veterans and their families.

"This community has given so much—Fair Go will never stop fighting for what veterans deserve." — Sarah Game

  • Protecting Cash Payments: Her Cash Payments Bill ensures government agencies accept cash under $10,000, safeguarding choice for regional and elderly South Australians.

"Cash isn’t just a preference, it’s a necessity for many South Australians." — Sarah Game

  • Men’s Health Advocacy: Labelled Australia’s “Minister for Men,” Sarah secured $200,000 for men’s health initiatives and pushes for a dedicated men’s portfolio to address mental health and societal pressures.

"I’m calling for a Fair Go for men, tackling issues like mental health head-on." — Sarah Game

  • Education and Family Values: Her 2024 Education and Children’s Services (Parental Primacy) Amendment Bill empowers parents over children’s education on morality and identity, protecting kids from ideological curricula. She also secured $250,000 for childhood dementia research.

"Parents—not politicians—should decide how their children are raised." — Sarah Game

  • Veterinarians’ Mental Health: Chairing a Joint Parliamentary Committee, Sarah is addressing the high suicide rates in veterinary practice through a year-long inquiry for life-saving reforms.

"We risk losing compassionate veterinarians unless we act now." — Sarah Game

  • Protecting Unborn Children: Her 2025 Termination of Pregnancy Amendment Bill restricts abortions after 22 weeks and 6 days for healthy babies, balancing maternal safety with fetal protection.

"Fully formed babies deserve legal protection after viability." — Sarah Game

  • Parental Alienation: Supporting The Reily Foundation, Sarah’s Parental Alienating Behaviours Bill aims to mitigate harmful family separation behaviours, fostering family reunification.

"We’re working to reunify families and build parenting capacity." — Sarah Game

  • Grandcarers Support: Sarah secured $50,000 for Grandcarers SA’s Education and Development Fund, helping kinship carers afford essentials like school uniforms.

"It helps give all kids a Fair Go." — Sarah Game

  • Combating Overreach: Her amendment to the Preventive Health SA Act ensures council members are free from Big Pharma influence. She also opposed the 2024 Emergency Management Bill’s draconian powers, fighting for individual rights.

"I was the only MP fighting for a Fair Go against government overreach." — Sarah Game

  • Rural and Agricultural Support: Sarah’s motions and bills support farmers with dam-building rights, better grape grower pricing, and improved Patient Assistance Transport Scheme subsidies, alongside backing for groups like Cottages 4 Country Care.

"I’m putting rural SA, farmers, and grape growers first." — Sarah Game

  • Freedom of Speech: Her Local Government (Health and Safety Duties) Amendment Bill restores council members’ right to speak freely, ensuring true democracy.

"A Fair Go means standing up for freedom of speech." — Sarah Game

Sarah’s vision for Fair Go is a South Australia where hard work is rewarded, families are supported, and division is replaced with unity. As she leads the party into the 2026 election, her energy and determination inspire a movement for a fairer, stronger future.
